THE CURRENT WAR

Quantum Theatre much anticipated and sold out (but with a wait list and streaming option) leads the return to live performance with THE CURRENT WAR, by Michael Mitnick, a world premiere musical staged outdoors for socially distant audiences in Westinghouse Park June 4 – 27, 2021.

THE CURRENT WAR tells the story of the rivalry between Pittsburgh’s own George Westinghouse and Thomas Edison at the dawn of the 20th century. With a turn-of-the-last-century aesthetic, this world premiere musical makes the metaphorical boxing ring battle between Westinghouse and Edison literal and electrified.
