The Pittsburgh New Works Festival has been dedicated to producing new plays from all over the world for 30 years! From comedy to drama and traditional to cutting edge, there’s always something for everyone to love. Presented by some of the Pittsburgh region’s theatre companies and top-notch acting talent from all corners of the region, New Works is something not to be missed!
All performances are held at Genesius Theater at Duquesne University, located at 1225 Seitz Street Pittsburgh, PA 15282.
LabWorks
Supporting the creation of new work is the heart of the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. To that end, PNWF has re-invented its staged readings to make them more valuable to playwrights. We’ve built a creative laboratory that gives the producing companies the flexibility to explore the scripts in everything from seated reading to full productions.
