Pittsburgh Musical Theater (PMT) has hired Quinn Patrick Shannon to head their arts education and youth development entity, PMT Conservatory.

“What excites me most is the opportunity to help children of all backgrounds find who they were always meant to be, not just as artists, but as individuals. I hope that students can look back at their time at PMT as a time of growth, friendship, and most importantly, fun. I wanted to accept this position because, once upon a time, I was one of those kids.” said Mr. Shannon.
A graduate of Point Park University (BA in Theater Arts), he has also been a member of the Actor’s Equity Association since 2008. Mr. Shannon has served on the faculty at PMT Conservatory since 2015 and was a teaching artist at Pittsburgh CLO Academy from 2017- 2019.
PMT’s Executive Director Colleen Doyno said “PMT is excited to welcome Quinn Patrick Shannon as the leader of PMT Conservatory. We look forward to him bringing new vision, programs, and opportunities to our students with his expertise. Quinn will be a positive and enthusiastic new team member with a creative mindset to take PMT Conservatory to new heights.”
