Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and The Mosites Company have partnered for the return of Open Air: A Series in Celebration of the Performing Arts this June 9 – 12 at a new location in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania, along the beautiful shores of the Allegheny River. One 19th Street, Sharpsburg, PA

Join PBT Company Dancers, PBT School students, and artists from 17 local performing arts organizations and regional studios for outdoor live performances and delicious food from local vendors.
PBT will take the stage at 8 p.m. June 9 – 11 with a program of performances, including contemporary pieces by Aszure Barton and Gemma Bond that dazzled audiences at Here + Now, plus classical pieces from The Sleeping Beauty and Susan Jaffe’s newly choreographed Swan Lake.
The schedule of performances is as follows. Note that this is subject to change.
Thursday, June 9
- 4:30 p.m.: Pittsburgh Festival Opera
- 8 p.m.: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Company
Friday, June 10
- 3 p.m.: Open Air: Shared Spaces
- 8 p.m.: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Company
Saturday, June 11
- 1:30 p.m.: Attack Theatre
- 3 p.m.: Shana Simmons Dance, Jamie Erin Murphy and Naina Roy Kathak
- 4:30 p.m.: Texture Ballet
- 8 p.m.: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Company
Sunday, June 12
- Noon: Confluence Ballet
