Due to Allegheny County COVID-19 Community Level changing to “medium” status, starting June 14, masks will not be required while attending indoor events at Pittsburgh Cultural Trust theaters and facilities. Masking is required in Trust venues only when the Community Level reaches “high” status.
Allegheny’s current transmission rates can be found on the CDC’s website.
The Pittsburgh Public Theater’s website indicated masks were still reqired as of today. The CLO’s website is unclear as to masking requirements at the Benedum and Greer Cabaret as of today. The opening of CLO’s production of Puffs at the Greer was delayed for a week due to COVID postive test results amongst company members.
Providing proof of vaccination is determined per event as set by the artist or promoter of individual touring productions. At this time, vaccination checks are not required for any upcoming events. If applicable, any updates will be noted on individual event pages and in pre-show emails to guests.
On Stage Pittsburgh recommends you cointinue to bring a mask and vax card with you to performances, just in case requirement changed since you last checked.
The Trust will continually monitor CDC, state, and local health requirements. Following future COVID-19 Community Level changes in Allegheny County, the Trust will adjust its entry requirements as needed beginning three business days after the County’s status change.
Trust officials noted that guests are welcome to continue masking if they choose.
