Pittsburgh Musical Theater brings back ‘Evil Dead the Musical’

Pittsburgh Musical Theater (PMT) will present the cult classic Evil Dead the Musical starting this Friday, September 30 thru October 22 at the West End Canopy at PMT, 327 S Main Street.

This hilarious musical combines all the elements from the cult classic movies, The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and The Army of Darkness into one of the craziest musical experiences of all time.

Evil Dead the Musical tells the story of five college students who go to an abandoned cabin in the woods. They accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons, prompting Ash, a housewares employee-turned-demon killer, and his trusty chainsaw to save the day.

Brett Goodnack (Ash) and Laura Barletta (Cheryl) will reprise their roles from the 2019 production. Joining the cast are Callee Miles (Shelly/Annie), Joseph Fedore (Ed), Brecken Newton Farrell (Scott), Micaela Oliverio (Linda), Charlie Thomson (Jake), and Gavin Carnahan (Knowby). The production is led by Nick Mitchell (Director), Jerreme Rodriguez (Choreographer), and Dr. Francesca Tortorello (Music Director).

Showtimes are 8:30 p.m, September 30, October 1st, 7th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd. For tickets, visit pittsburghmusicals.com/evildeadtickets
