PBT’s ‘The Nutcracker’ Opens This Friday

There are a variety of pre-show presentations offered to help get your family ready for the performance.

One of Pittsburgh’s favorite holiday traditions returns to the Benedum Center stage this Friday. Marie and her Nutcracker prince journey to the Land of Enchantment. Along the way, they encounter the Snow Queen and King, The Rat King, the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier, and a whole cast of memorable characters!

Five fanciful scenes, over 150 unique costumes, and Tchaikovsky‘s enduring score make The Nutcracker a can’t-miss family holiday tradition.

The talented artists of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School perform all the roles. Check out the cast list here.
