onStage Pittsburgh Critics Nominated for Golden Quill Awards

The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania has announced this year’s Golden Quill Awards nominations, honoring professional journalism excellence.

Sharon Eberson and Robert Hoover received nominations in the Division III Criticism category for three of each of their reviews

Eberson received her nomination for reviews of New Horizon Theater’s Searching for Willie Lynch and The Green Book, along with SITI Company’s The Medium

Hoover was nominazted for his reviews of Pittsburgh Public Theater’s A Raisin in the SunTwo Trains Running, and Murder on the Orient Express.

The Western PA Golden Quill Awards is a regional tradition dating back to the 1960s. Members of the Press Club submit candidates for nomination, and the winners will be announced at an Awards Dinner on May 30th.
