A New Adaptation of Jane Austin’s ‘Emma’ Opens May 19th

Steel City Shakespeare presents Emma, based on the novel by Jane Austen. A young, beautiful socialite occupies herself with matchmaking for her friends but soon finds herself causing more trouble than couples. This world-premiere adaptation is by local playwright Dylan Mahaffey and directed by Hannah Moss

The production features Brianne Kessel in the title role of Emma Woodhouse, supported by Ella MizeraMichael PhelpsSamwise RileyNick Ryan, and Parker Stephens.
