Celebrate Valentine’s Weekend at the Strand Theater in Zelienople

Broadway couple Libby Servais (Wicked and The Strand’s Heroes & Villains) and husband Stephan Stubbins (Mary Poppins) will present their romantic musical celebration, Broadway in Love, at The Strand Theater from February 16 to 18. 

Broadway In Love celebrates the most poignant, hilarious, and captivating love songs from Broadway’s iconic productions, including WickedSouth PacificFrozenMy Fair Lady, and Phantom of the Opera. Servais, known for her dazzling performances on Broadway and across the country, expresses her excitement for returning to The Strand Theater, a venue she holds dear to her heart after her leading performance in 2016’s Heroes and Villains

“I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate Valentine’s weekend than at The Strand Theater, where music, love, kindness, and art all come to life,” says Servais. Servais and Stubbins created the show Broadway in Love to share the thrills, the chills, the heartbreak, and the laughter of Love with nationwide audiences. They met performing in a show together in 2013, married in 2019, and have a one-year-old boy named Elliott.

Servais was most recently seen on Broadway in Wicked, floating in the bubble as Glinda. She also performed the role with the National Tour and San Francisco company and was featured on NBC’s A Very Wicked Halloween television special. Additionally, on Broadway, Servais was in the original Broadway cast of Lysistrata Jones. Stubbins’ professional performing career has been highlighted by his time on Broadway in Mary Poppins. He is also the co-founder of the Broadway Under the Stars concert series in California’s wine country.

Exclusively for Strand audiences, joining them on stage will be Michael and Kelly Marra, who have enjoyed a long, successful marriage. Michael appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and the national tour and was an original cast member of the first national tour of Jekyll & Hide. Kelly has extensive performance credits worldwide on cruise ships, theme parks, Off-Broadway, and regional engagements. Also joining the show are Nick Navari and Elea Wadsworth, a young couple just starting their lives together. Nick is The Strand’s Artistic Director, but he and Elea are headed to New York City in the Fall, where he will attend the Berklee College of Music in New York City to get his Masters in Writing and Design for Musical Theater. In addition, Local Singles, a show he wrote and directed, will debut Off-Broadway on January 9, 2025. Elea will graduate from Point Park University this spring as a dance major and musical theater minor.
