The February 17th & 18th concerts at Eastminster Presbyterian Churchfeatures soloists Graham Fandrei and Nicole Tascarella

A requiem is said to be a Mass for the dead; Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem is a comfort for the living. Brahms departed from the traditional Catholic Latin requiem Mass by composing reflections based on the poetry of the Old Testament. A German Requiem is sacred but not liturgical. Ein Deutsches Requiem is sung in German and features Nicole Tascarella, soprano, and Graham Fandrei, baritone.
Founded in 1934, the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh produces a three-program concert season presented in unique venues in and around Pittsburgh.
