Pittsburgh CLO has announced the cast of Camelot, with Adam Kantor of Tony Award-winning The Band’s Visit as Arthur leading the production that will open its 79th summer season June 17-22.
Kantor won a Daytime Emmy and a Grammy for his performance as Telephone Guy in The Band’s Visit, as well as an Outer Critics Circle honor for his performance in Darling Grenadine at the Roundabout Theatre.
As Arthur’s queen, Guenevere, Kyla Stone returns to Pittsburgh CLO after playing Cinderella in Into the Woods in 2023. She made her Broadway debut in Barry Manilow’s Harmony, and she made history as the first African-American Anya in Anastasia (National Tour), and as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde at The Muny.
Completing the legendary love triangle as Lancelot is Ben Jacoby, who played Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on Broadway and Raoul in the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera.

Alexander Podolinski, in his third PCLO production, plays Mordred, veteran theatermaker John L. Grimsley, is PCLO’s Merlyn/Pellinore, and Andrea Weinzierl will reprise her role as an Avonworth High School freshman, playing Morgan Le Fay. This will be Weinzierl’s eighth PCLO production.
Pittsburgh CLO executive producer Mark Fleischer directs the classic musical, which first opened on Broadway in 1960 and spawned three revivals, following the company’s world-premiere production of Madame Clicquot.
“Directing a musical as iconic as Lerner & Loewe’s Camelot is a rare and thrilling opportunity — and I’m especially honored to do so with this extraordinary group of artists,” Fleischer said. “Each cast member brings not only remarkable talent but also a genuine passion for storytelling that will breathe new life into this legendary tale. The triumphs and challenges of King Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot and the Knights of the Round Table remain as relevant today as when their legend emerged in the 12th century. I can’t wait for audiences to experience the magic we’re creating together on the Benedum
The production features choreography by Mara Newbery Greer, music direction by Robert Neumeyer, and fight direction by Randy Kovitz.
Among the Knights of the Round Table, and returning to PCLO, are Ryan Cavanaugh (Sir Sagramore), Bobby M. Davis (Sir Colgrevance), Donovan Elliott Smith (Sir Lionel) and Allan Snyder (Sir Dinadin).
The ensemble includes Kylie Edwards and Kai Sachon, both Gene Kelly Award winners, as was Weinzierl. Edwards is a rising senior Musical Theatre major at Carnegie Mellon University; Sachon is studying musical Theatre at the University of Michigan.
After a 2024 summer season at various venues, PCLO will be solely at the Benedum Center in 2025, with shows including the national tour of Back to the Future and Disney’s Frozen.
