Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center concludes its 2024-2025 Clearview Federal Credit Union Subscription Series, Raise Your Voice! with the feel-good comedy smash Sister Act for six performances – June 20 to June 29.
The Plotline: A woman hiding in a convent helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own.
Based on the hit 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg, Sister Act features original music by eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors) and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and a genuinely moving story, Sister Act is a tribute to the universal power of friendship that will have audiences rejoicing.
