Bodiography Contemporary Ballet, under the leadership acclaimed artist and Founding Director Maria Caruso and Artistic Director Lauren Skrabalak, has unveiled its 2025–2026 performance season, spanning from beloved holiday traditions to bold new choreographic premieres. This season showcases the company’s commitment to powerful storytelling, interdisciplinary collaboration, and inclusive community engagement.

This year’s Intersections celebrates global collaboration and artistic exchange with special guest performances by Italy’s celebrated ARB Dance Company from Caserta. The evening will feature the world premiere of Maria Caruso’s newest commission, The Space Between Us, created especially for ARB’s powerful ensemble.
Also joining the program is Matrafisc Dance, returning to Pittsburgh to restage a 2019 work originally created for Bodiography, alongside the debut of a new piece that continues their tradition of emotionally resonant, movement-driven storytelling. Together, these international voices converge to present an evening that bridges distance through the universal language of dance.

Following the success of Evensong, Maria Caruso presents Arcadia, a compelling sequel that delves deeper into themes of transformation and human connection.
Supported by The Heinz Endowments, this new full-length ballet continues Caruso’s exploration of life’s cyclical nature through her distinctive choreographic voice via the soundscape of Kevin Keller.
Arcadia promises to captivate audiences with its rich narrative and innovative movement language, further solidifying Caruso’s reputation for creating accessible and meaningful dance works. Following its Pittsburgh premiere, the company will bring Arcadia to New York City, offering broader audiences the opportunity to experience this profound continuation of Caruso’s artistic journey.
