Little Lake Theatre is pitching something new under the sun this weekend, when Broadway at the Ballpark – a live, cabaret-style revue with more than 50 performers – is staged at the Wild Things Park in Washington, PA.
On Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 7 p.m., the 75-year-old company will welcome theater fans to the home field of the Frontier League’s Washington Wild Things, where audience members are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs to watch from center field.
“Our inspiration for Broadway at the Ballpark came from a desire to combine two beloved American pastimes: theater and baseball,” said Patrick Cannon, Little Lake’s artistic director. “We wanted to create an event that would bring the community together in a unique and exciting way … in a setting that feels both grand and familiar.”

Performers include cast members of Little Lake’s Matilda the Musical and Escape to Margaritaville and Stage 62’s Rent.
Cannon said the all-ages revue will feature “a selection of beloved Broadway show tunes, spanning from timeless classics to contemporary hits.”
