HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE AT ARCADE COMEDY
The new comedy show Night of the Moth Man, based on a tabletop role-playing game, soars into Arcade Comedy Theater for three October nights, leading up to Halloween. Arcade, which features other shows based on RPGs (such as Knights of the Arcade and Fool Moon, presents this Connor McCanlus-produced “spooky twist on comedians playing imaginative adventure games live on stage.”
Based on Night of the Moth Man, a Bedlam Arts and Goods game by Pittsburgh-based designer Eamon McNamee, the show is set on Halloween night, 1991, when a group of trick-or-treaters must retrieve their stolen candy from a haunted cabin in the woods. When a mysterious force transforms them into their costumes, the gang must use their new magical abilities to save the kidnapped Moth Man. Starring John Feightner as the Game Master, with Regina Connolly, Paul Fields, Tal Kroser and Kendall White, the show runs Fridays at 8 p.m., October 17, 24 and Halloween night, at Arcade Comedy Theater, 943 Liberty Ave, Downtown. $18 tickets are available at arcadecomedytheater.com.
Off the Record XXV: “Burgh to the Future!” a night of music, comedy, and fun, all for a good cause! The musical satire of Pittsburgh news and newsmakers 25th anniversary edition sponsored, written, produced and performed by active and retired members of three local labor unions: SAG-AFTRA Ohio-Pittsburgh, which represents television and radio broadcasters, actors and other entertainment and media personalities, the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh, which represents writers, editors, photographers, artists and other journalists currently on strike against the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the Pittsburgh-based United Steelworkers, which represents 850,000 workers in various industries across North America.
This year’s show time travels to great moments of Pittsburgh’s past, and gazes into the future with hope, pride and lots of laughs. The show welcomes back the original OTR emcee, Larry Richert, with mayoral nominee Corey O’Connor as the prebuttalist.
The annual fundraiser has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

The New Hazlett Theater announced its 13th Season of Community Supported Art (CSA), featuring three premiere performances by Pittsburgh-based artists. CSA Season 13 offers an array of performances, including a dramedy about race, relations, and Homewood, a humorous musical about making it big on Broadway, and an otherworldly dance performance about love, labor, and time.
This season also introduces three staged readings as part of the launch of CSA: Off the Page. This series highlights the compelling voices just outside the main CSA stage. The three-part reading series features works by runner-up artists, whose stories, scripts, and ideas reflect the same creativity that defines the Community Supported Art Performance Series.

The CLO is shivering with antici…pation to welcome a special guest narrator to select performances of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW! A SHORE THING! WITH PITTSBURGH CLO
Among the events surrounding Pittsburgh CLO’s production of The Rocky Horror Show, at the Greer Cabaret October 14 – November 8, 2025, is Showtunes on Shore Thing. PCLO is taking over the North Shore venue, at the foot of the Clemente Bridge, noon-2 p.m. on Sunday, October 12. The public is invited to participate in Musical Theatre Trivia, belt out favorite showtunes with live Show Tune Karaoke, and enter for a chance to win free tickets to a Pittsburgh CLO show, plus, enjoy a special sneak-peek performance by the Rocky Horror cast.
Pittsburgh Festival Opera’s Legends in the Limelight features Meghan Picerno accompanied by James Lesniak, pianist, and special guest performances by Marianne Cornetti, mezzo-soprano; Thomas Shivone, baritone; Alexandria Zallo, mezzo-soprano; and Isabella Zallo.
Meghan Picerno is a fan favorite. She is consistently praised for her exciting, crowd-pleasing performances in opera, theatre, and on concert stages throughout the world. Picerno played Christine Daaé in the US Premiere and 1st National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies, and is hailed by The Los Angeles Times, noting “Picerno sings in a spine-tinglingly stratospheric soprano.”
