Due to the winter storm expected to blanket the Pittsburgh area on Sunday, January 25, 2026, cancellation and postponements of performances are inevitable. Ticket-holders, stay safe, and keep checking back with box-offices websites and by phone.
Here are just a few notices as of early Saturday morning:
PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh, Wicked, Benedum Center, and other Pittsburgh Cultural Trust venues: Sunday’s two performances of Wicked have been canceled. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s website weather alert page included that the cancellations are for “anticipated severe winter weather and an emergency proclamation in Pennsylvania,” and include all Cultural Trust performances scheduled for Sunday, January 25. Wicked ticket-holders can learn more and exchange tickets at TrustArts.org/WickedExchange or call Guest Services at 412-456-4800. The Trust adds that the exchange does not need to be completed before scheduled showtime. Ticket-holders for Liberty Magic, Harris Theater, and other Trust events scheduled for Sunday, January 25, can call Guest Services at 412-456-6666 to review ticket exchange options.

City Theatre: Malcolm X and Redd Foxx Washing Dishes at Jimmy’s Chicken Shack in Harlem: The 2 p.m. Sunday performance has been canceled. A Momentum Reading of Jo Van Gogh has been rescheduled to February 1 at 5 p.m.

Prime Stage, New Hazlett Theater: Freedom House: Giving Life a Second Chance: Sunday’s performance has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 29, at 7:30 p.m. Pittsburgh Jazz Legacy: A Concert Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom House, has been rescheduled from Monday to Wednesday, January 28, at 7:30 p.m.
