Fall Fundraising Round-Up 2018

fundraiser headerIf you are a regular reader of Pittsburgh in the Round, then you are most likely a lover of all things performing arts. You probably have your favorite companies, regularly buy tickets to productions, subscribe to newsletters, follow Twitter and Instagram accounts – in general, be an active participant in the performing arts community. The vitality and creativity and variety of our performing arts landscape would not be possible without the individual patrons for whom the work is created. And, whether it’s a large institution like Pittsburgh Opera or a small grassroots theater like Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks, however, you participate, no matter how you support your favorite company, it is all vitally important to the success of that company and wholeheartedly appreciated by everyone involved.

This fall offers several opportunities to support your favorite company, and have what’s shaping up to be some fabulous good times! From fancy dress to carnival wear to come-as-you-are; from dancing to party games to carnival “rides;” from jazz to opera to musical theater; from elegant dining to cotton candy; from champagne to beer – there’s an annual fundraising event to fit your style and your budget. So get out this fall to one or all of the upcoming fundraisers, have a rip-roaring good time, and support your local performing arts.
